Kachelofen Masonry-heater School of Canada
The Kachelofen Masonry-heater School of Canada offers professional training for Masonry-heater Builders. Students will acquire knowledge about trade specific and general building materials. Physical principles regarding Masonry-heaters as well as the general physical principles of structures and the likes.

Masonry-heater history will be discussed to develop and further the background knowledge of the subject and to raise awareness of historical and contemporary architectural styles.

 Students will work with trade specific materials, tools, machines, and equipment. They will use and work with them under consideration of economical, ecological and safety aspects.

 Traditional and current "Kachelofen" - Masonry-heater building techniques will be discussed.

Course participants will acquire knowledge of mathematical symbols, formulas and tables so they will be able to carry out trade related calculations in a logical and economical fashion.

Students will learn how to draw trade related sketches and plans and how to properly size and measure them. They will also acquire knowledge on how to properly read construction drawings.

He/She will be trained to use his/her knowledge in customer service advisory services throughout the program.
