Program

KMSC program is divided into three levels.

LEVEL1:

This includes the study of the Kachelofen Technical Training (KTT) Manual Level 1 which is to be completed in a study at home fashion. Studying of this manual will give students the basic knowledge of Kachelofen - Masonry-heaters.

Students must complete KTT1 before they are able to attend the level 1 Seminar and Hands-On training course.

The Level 1 Seminar and Hands-On training course has a course length of 2 weeks and includes the following topics:

Natural Stone: Structural stone & Aggregates

Artificial Stone: Bricks, Concrete Stone (Blocks), Light-wightConcrete, Gaseous Concrete, Lime-Sandstone, Slag-Concrete Stone, Refractory Materials, Tiles/Stovetiles;

Wood: Wood from deciduous Trees & Wood from coniferous Trees

Level 2:

This includes the study of the Kachelofen Technical Training (KTT) Manual Level 2 which is to be completed in a study at home fashion. Studying of this manual will give students advance knowledge of Kachelofen - Masonry-heaters.

Students must complete KTT2 before they are able to attend the level 2 Seminar and Hands-On training course.

The Level 2 Seminar and Hands-On training course has a course length of 2 weeks and includes the following topics:

Students must complete KTT3 before they are able to attend the Level 3 Seminar and Hands-On training course.

The Level 3 Seminar and Hands-On training course has a course length of 2 weeks and includes the following topics:

Masonry Kitchen Stoves

Bake & Pizza Ovens

Fireplaces

Speziality Wood Fired Stoves: Sauna Stoves, Boiler Stoves, Hot Tub Stoves;

Calculations in regards to : Materials & Heat Requirement

Sizing of Masonry Kitchen-stoves

Sizing of Bake & Pizza Ovens
